Black Stonewash Finish

The black stonewash finish is a variation of the stonewash finish. Using a special process, a blackening of the stainless steel is achieved, which is then treated in the same way as a stonewash. Here, the knife is "washed" together with stones in a drum, which produces a used look that has increased in popularity in recent years. Different sizes of stones and different processing times can be used to achieve different results. The advantage of this is that an improved resistance to corrosion is achieved, which is especially desirable for areas of use in difficult weather conditions. Another side effect is that scratches are far more inconspicuous than with other surfaces. That makes this type of surface treatment not only suitable for hunters or soldiers, but for every outdoor enthusiast.
