Cerakote coating

The Cerakote coating is a high-temperature coating based on ceramics. After the coating has been applied, it is hardened in a kiln. This type of coating has been used for years for the surface treatment of firearms and has now also arrived at knife manufacturers. It provides excellent corrosion protection and extreme hardness. The result is a high abrasion resistance, which also makes scratches very difficult to get into the material. Its increasing popularity is based, among other things, on the wide range of colours and the enormous freedom of design, as combinations of several colours and the creation of patterns are also possible.
