The Spartan Blades Harsey Folder 3.25 Black Plague Special Edition is a fascinating combination of precision, functionality, and dark aesthetics. This special edition is based on the popular SHF 3.25 and was designed for collectors and demanding users alike.
The 8.3 cm long drop point blade is made from high-performance CPM MagnaCut steel and achieves a hardness of 59–61 HRC. It offers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and stability—ideal for everyday use or as a high-quality collector's item. The flat grind and stonewashed finish ensure universal cutting performance and a striking appearance. The real highlight is the 6AL-4V titanium handle scales, which feature a matte black coating and an intricate engraving of the “Plague Doctor.” The golden motif gives the knife a mystical depth and underlines the exclusive character of the Black Plague Edition. The design is rounded off by a golden pivot screw engraved with the biohazard symbol and screws and clip insert in gold-bronze tone.
With a total length of 18.1 cm and a weight of only 82 g, this knife is easy to carry and fits perfectly in the hand. The beginnings were spent making knives in an old pre-war barn, and the customer base consisted of friends, acquaintances, old colleagues and absolute knife fans. The Elite Grade with the golden logo only features knives that are actually still made in Southern Pines, North Carolina. They are equipped with the most exclusive materials and will knock the socks off any knife connoisseur.
The Pro Grade with the silver logo are produced in collaboration with Ka-Bar under Pineland Cutlery. Also “Proudly Made in USA” and also high quality, sturdy knives that are not afraid of any outdoor work.
The field grade, underlined by the bronze logo, is suitable for all knife fans who do not have such an open budget. Production takes place abroad. This means that the knives can be offered at a lower price. Despite the good prices, cheap material has not been used here: AUS 8 and CTS-XHP steel are used as well as G10 or carbon fiber.
