1969 Z28-Damast

A legend of the US automotive industry was produced from 1966-1969. The Chevrolet Camaro Z28! Conceived as a car for younger buyers who wanted a compact and sporty car. The Z28 was the last Chevrolet of the first generation. Known among connoisseurs as one of the best series. The massive V8 small block with an output of 294 hp (216 kW) accelerated the car in seconds. The famous racing stripes decorated the "Le Mans" blue car. A true icon of history!

Böker's 1969 Z28 Damascus revives this legend and represents the muscle car. Everything about this knife is modelled on the Camaro Z28. Like the Camaro, the blue aluminium handle comes in the colour "Le Mans Blue" and has the classic lines of the body, including the rear spoiler and notchback. The cutouts at the end of the handle are reminiscent of the car's gill-like rear intakes. The pocket clip represents the chrome-plated mirrors and door handles. The rims typical of muscle cars are reflected in the blade screw. As you can see, attention has been paid to every little detail here. But the most important thing is yet to come. The drop-point blade! It is made of 80-layer damascus from the Camaro's upper wishbone. How great is that? So every knife has the DNA of the Camaro! The damascus pattern was hand-forged by the renowned Chad Nichols and alludes to the sloping Cowl-Induction bonnet. In collaboration with Italian designer Tommaso Rumici, a unique "muscle knife" was created to honour the Z28's reputation.
