Kanetsune Seki – Japanese kitchen knives with traditional charm

If you are looking for a new chef's knife for your household, we can recommend Kanetsune Seki to everyone – especially fans of Japanese style. Here, centuries of mature craftsmanship meet the daily demands of your own four walls or the catering industry. A handy handle, sharp blade – all combined in a beautiful and authentic design.

The best of both worlds

A steel composite made from Takefu Shiro-2 core steel and rust-resistant SUS410 outer layers form the knife's very sharp blade. So-called “laminated steel” is particularly popular in Japanese chef's knife manufacturing because it combines the advantages of two types of steel – meaning that the Kanetsune kitchen knife not only stays sharp for a very long time, but is also highly rust-resistant. Another highlight are the rough areas just behind the cutting edge, which ensure that nothing sticks to the blade. The Japanese characters on the blade complete the overall picture.

Authentic from start to finish

The reddish-brown laminated wood handle also contributes to the knife's robust and authentic character. The blade is secured to the handle with two rivets and can be guided ideally and comfortably thanks to the O-shape of the wooden handle.

The Santoku knife as an all-rounder

The Japanese chef's knife in the Santoku shape can handle all tasks in the kitchen and is particularly suitable for fruit, meat, vegetables, and fish. With a 14 cm long blade, this knife is one of the more compact representatives of its kind and is therefore particularly suitable for smaller hands.

What are you waiting for?

The Santoku 140 mm laminated wood KC-314 offers good cutting performance, an attractive appearance, and ergonomic handling—perfect for everyday use when preparing food, without breaking the budget. Great performance for a very fair price—Kanetsune Seki—Proudly Made in Seki City, Japan.
