The Kerberos combat knife is designed and developed by Sam Lurquin. He is not only a gifted knife maker and blacksmith. From his time in service as a dog leader of a riot control unit comes the design of the Böker Plus Kerberos, with which Lurquin wanted to give his colleagues the optimal tool for the mission. Because of his specialization in fixed blade knives, he teamed up with Raphaël Durand for this project to have him implement his design. The self-supporting G10 handle is fully contoured and features deep finger recesses for secure and intuitive handling. The wide blade is crafted from D2 and features a horizontal satin finish. The thumb disk allows for quick and easy opening, and the full tang backlock is haptically a poem. A knife designed by a practitioner through and through, yet with a timeless elegance that few combat knives have ever possessed.
