The Hana Collection is ideal for getting a perfect impression of Yaxell's high-quality knives. The Japanese kitchen knives are made by hand in Seki and impress with their outstanding cutting performance. The sharp blade of the Hana chef's knife is 20 cm long and consists of 3 layers of steel, a MOVAX blade core encased in a layer of stainless steel. Similar to the Japanese samurai swords, the Hana knives also have a hamon line on the cutting edge, which is polished by hand. The octagonal handle is typical of traditional chef's knives from Japan and ensures very comfortable handling. It is made of pakka wood on a beech base.
As a large universal knife, the chef's knife is ideal for meat, fish, vegetables and larger types of fruit such as pineapple and melon. Thanks to the wide blade, the sliced food can be transported from the board to the pot after processing. The Hana chef's knife is also the perfect choice for weighing herbs!
