The Hermod Folder G10 has a classic, sturdy and solid look that is impressive in every respect. The sturdy two-handed folder was designed by Dirk Hofmeister, who is known as the head of the company “Midgards Messer”. Notorious for his sprawling overbuild designs, he repeatedly brings full-blown pocket knives onto the market that are not afraid of even the toughest cutting jobs.
In the Boker Plus version, the Hermod Folder G10 comes with black G10 handle scales. Thanks to the ergonomic shape, these adapt to the palm of the hand and the texturing provides sufficient grip to work well with the knife. In addition to the liner lock as a locking mechanism, the Hermod Folder also comes with a safety pin that turns the pocket knife into a two-handed knife. The stainless steel pocket clip, which offers a comfortable carrying option, blends perfectly into the design.
Of course, the massive D2 blade should not go unmentioned. This has a blade thickness of 4.8 mm and a length of 9.2 cm. Once the beast has been freed from the nail nick, it reliably takes on various cutting tasks.
The overall picture is rounded off by a glass breaker, which can also be life-saving in emergency situations. The folding knife is supplied in a practical nylon case with a zipper.
