The Böker Plus Urban Barlow Cocobolo by designer Brad Zinker is a modern interpretation of the classic Barlow pocket knife. In doing so, he stays true to the original but also adds modern elements. A particularly striking feature is the extra-long bolster made of titanium, which is integrated into the handle of the knife and includes a modern Integral Frame Lock as a locking mechanism. The frame lock has a stainless steel inlay and an overtravel stop, which ensures a secure and wear-free locking of the blade. The handle scales of the knife are made of exquisite cocobolo wood and set a classic accent.
The blade of the modern gentleman's knife is made of high-quality M390 steel and has a ball-bearing and hollow-ground droppoint shape. It can be opened via a front flipper as well as via a hole for opening the pocket knife, which is reminiscent of the nail cut of the original model. The wide titanium clip is milled from the solid and makes it comfortable to carry. The knife comes with a high-quality nylon pouch. With an overall length of 17.2 cm, a blade length of 7.7 cm, a blade thickness of 2.63 mm and a weight of 66 g, the Böker Plus Urban Barlow MCF is a robust and versatile pocket knife.
