The compact, 6.5 cm long blade really fits effortlessly in any pocket and still cuts through any task that comes its way without any problems. It is made of C75 carbon steel and has an acid wash finish. This is extremely edge-holding and easy to sharpen, though not stainless, which means it will never say no to a little oil and care. The blade opens with the help of the nail house and is prevented from unwanted folding by a slipjoint mechanism. The handle with bog oak scales and nickel silver bolsters is on the one hand very sturdy and on the other hand very comfortable in the hand.
