Tirpitz Damast 42

On 12.11.1944 the German battleship, the Tirpitz, is sunk by the Royale Air Force by heavy "Tall Boy" bombs. This unique folding knife brings a piece of true history into the present, because this pocket knife has a blade made from the special armor of the Tirpitz. It is a special model that will delight any collector. On behalf of the Solingen knife manufacturer Böker, a Norwegian diving team recovered parts of the special armor of the Tirpitz from the fjord. From this piece of living history, an exceptional 300-layer damascus was forged. The large, 9.9 cm long blade with a hardness of 60 Rockwell draws the damascus pattern " Large Pyramids ". The nail groove allows the blade to be opened two-handed and secured by a liner lock. The high-strength handle made of aluminum AIMgSI1 with a high silicon content is hardcoat anodized. The very nice handle inlays with the original emblem of the Tirpitz are made of domestic walnut wood. The folding knife combines history, tradition and the latest technology, it is completely handmade and comes from Solingen from the knife manufacturer Böker. Each Tirpitz knife is numbered and comes with a certificate. Supplied with frame box, certificate and serial number.
