KAI Tim Mälzer Kamagata - Japanese chef's knives
The Tim Mälzer Kamagata series from KAI is ideal for anyone who likes simple chef's knives without a lot of frills and prefers a clear design!
Efficiency, functionality and high quality standards combined with minimalist design - that's the Kamagata series in a nutshell.
The KAI chef's knives are manufactured in Seki, Japan. The stainless steel blades are made of 1.4116 stainless steel and, just like the Shun Premier Tim Mälzer Minamo series, have a very unusual blade shape. This is essentially a combination of the Japanese Santoku shape and the classic European kitchen knives. This combines the advantages of both cuisines.
The black, stylish handles are made of a special plastic called polyoxymethenyl (also known as POM plastic). By using this material, the handles are nice and light and offer good balance when working, while at the same time being comfortable to hold.
The typical Tim Mälzer “Kitchen Bulls” motif adorns the ends of the knife handles.
