Kalashnikov Duty

Whoever hears the terms assault rifle or Red Army most likely immediately has the image of the iconic "7.62 mm Awtomat Kalasshnikova obraztsa 1947" or better known as AK-47 in mind. The rifle designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov and the most built rifle of the past era, which can hardly be surpassed in terms of robustness. To honor this masterful feat of engineering, Böker has developed a knife that pays homage to this milestone of development 70 years after its commissioning. The 10 cm long Clippoint blade is made of the popular 440C steel and is finished with a two-tone finish. It is opened one-handed with the thumb pin and locked with a secure linerlock. The aluminum handle is milled from one piece and black anodized like the other parts. Thanks to the sophisticated shape, it lies excellently in the hand. The hand-applied cocobolo wood inlays have the shape of the AK-47's vents, and the deep-carry clip ensures a secure hold in the pocket. Included is a nylon case for storage.
