KAI - Japanese High Class Kitchen Knives

There really is something for everyone at KAI! From robust and inexpensive Japanese chef's knives for hobby chefs and beginners to the finest Damascus chef's knives with hand-forged blades and exquisite handles, KAI always provides exactly the right tool for the kitchen. The Japanese KAI chef's knives come in different series: from the Wasabi Black to the Shun Classic and the Tim Mälzer series, as a KAI specialist retailer we offer a large part of the chef's knife specialist's range here. The unique combination of tradition and modern technology is the focus at KAI in Seki, Japan. The aim is to elevate the forging art of the samurai to a modern setting, in this case the home kitchen and of course commercial kitchens, where professional chefs can use their KAI blades to show what quality can look like. Both individual chef's knives and complete chef's knife sets can be found in our range.

For the Japanese WASABI chef's knives, a special handle was developed whose special combination of bamboo powder and polyphropylene offers optimal hygiene - also due to the natural antibacterial effect of the bamboo components. In contrast to the traditional Japanese wooden handle, the handle is not pinned, but completely encloses the blade, in a way that on the one hand the blade cannot come loose from the handle and on the other hand dirt cannot accumulate. This makes the knife also suitable for large kitchens. We offer a wide range of accessories for the knives, such as knife blocks and sharpening stones.
