Spearpoint blade
The Spear Point blade is a special form of the Drop Point blade. The difference here lies in the upper cutting edge. This is left completely blunt and ground down. This gives the blade better weight distribution and better handling. This shape is particularly popular for outdoor combat knives and every-day carry knives. Thanks to the rounded tip, spear point blades are particularly suitable for drilling and piercing work.
